The Troy Historical Society is seeking to hire a part-time Business Manager. The Business Manager will work under the direction of the Executive Director and with the Treasurer and Finance Committee to perform bookkeeping functions at the Troy Historic Village. The Troy Historical Society welcomes undergraduate and graduate students who wish to complete unpaid, for-credit internships and practicums to fulfill academic requirements. Internships are available in a variety of subject areas including but not limited to:
- American History/Research
- Museum Studies
- Archive Management
- Nonprofit Management
- Graphics Design
- Accounting and Finance
- Historic Preservation
- Technology/Social Media/Website management
To apply for an internship, please complete and submit a printed Intern Application. Applications must be submitted at least 4 weeks before the term starts. Following submission of an application, individuals will be contacted to schedule an interview and to discuss potential intern projects and work experiences. The final selection of interns is at the discretion of the Executive Director.
