The Troy Historical Society is currently seeking a part-time history interpreter. This position is part of our education staff working exclusively with our school field trips. It is perfect for someone with experience teaching school kids looking to gain experience in the museum field or looking to work just a few times each week. Internship Opportunities
The Troy Historical Society welcomes undergraduate and graduate students who wish to complete unpaid, for-credit internships and practicums to fulfill academic requirements. Internships are available in a variety of subject areas including but not limited to:

  • Technology/Social Media/Website management

To apply for an internship, please complete and submit a printed Intern Application. Applications must be submitted at least 4 weeks before the term starts. Following submission of an application, individuals will be contacted to schedule an interview and to discuss potential intern projects and work experiences. The final selection of interns is at the discretion of the Executive Director.
