The Troy Historic Village is seeking a Business Manager. This individual will work with staff, board members, and the Finance Committee to perform bookkeeping functions, track budgets and operations, and provide special events support. This part-time position is a maximum 24 hours per week. Village hours are Monday-Friday 10am-3pm though special events and programs may require some evening or weekend hours. Hours are flexible and we can accommodate a hybrid office. Our team atmosphere is supportive of family needs. Currently the Village offers paid holidays for part-time positions (health benefits are not available).

The Troy Historical Society welcomes undergraduate and graduate students who wish to
complete unpaid, for-credit internships and practicums to fulfill academic requirements. Internships are
available in a variety of subject areas including but not limited to:
- American History/Research
- Museum Studies
- Archive Management
- Nonprofit Management
- Graphics Design
- Accounting and Finance
- Historic Preservation
- Technology/Social Media/Website management
To apply for an internship, please complete and submit a printed Intern Application. Applications
must be submitted at least 4 weeks before the term starts. Following submission of an application,
individuals will be contacted to schedule an interview and to discuss potential intern projects and
work experiences. The final selection of interns is at the discretion of the Executive Director.
