We are a Blue Star Museum!
Blue Star Museums is a free admission program for active military and their families from Armed Forces Day (May 21, 2022) to Labor Day (September 5, 2022). At the Village, we’re happy to extend free general admission to veterans and their families, too!

“History Unfurled” Flag Exhibit: July – September 16, Monday – Friday, 10am-3pm
See the Asafo Flag art reproduction on display as part of the Detroit Institute of Arts InsideǀOut project, then tour the Village to explore the history, myths, and messages of the historic flags in our collection. Hands-on activity for kids. Included with general admission.
