GEARHEADS AND CAR ENTHUSIASTS won’t want to miss over 250 antiques, classics, muscle cars, high-performance vehicles, and exotics. You never know what gems are hiding in the garages across southeast Michigan until you see them filling up the Columbia Center at the Troy Traffic Jam! We’ve also got top collectors sharing their award winning restorations, customized Corvettes, a collection of Ferraris (seeing one is great, but how about EIGHT is one spot?!), vehicles from the Stahl’s and Pontiac Transportation Museum collection, race-ready high performance vehicles, and more! Need more? Stop in the Tech Talks tent to really dig into the latest automotive news!
KIDS AND FAMILIES will want to check out our Troy Historic Village tent where we take you from Carriage to Cars! We’ll have kids activites, a takeaway toy, and a photo op with Troy’s past. Next door Sparkles the Clown has facepaint and temporary tattoos. See robotics demonstrations from the Troy Hammerheads & Athens Argonauts (High School teams) and the Circuit Breakers, Baker Dynamics, and TechKNOWlogic Baker middle school teams and get a chance to drive and interact with their creations. Troy Fire Department and Police Department will have some of their newest vehicles on display so kids (and grownups) can get up close and maybe even climb aboard!
EVERYONE will enjoy grabbing a lunch or snack from Mickey’s, Uptown Catering, Fogo de Chao, or Triple AAA Ice Cream. Additional snack options are available this year for those who want to keep strolling the cars! Music by Mike Staff Productions will keep us moving, and come CHEER ON the little racers at the Kids Pedal Car 200 at 1:30pm!
