The 17th annual Troy Traffic Jam will display 300+ cars ranging from antiques to high performance vehicles. This year we are celebrating SPEED by featuring cars from across all racing genres! More than just a car show, the Traffic Jam features Tech Talks from industry experts, automotive art, kids’ pedal car races, robotics demonstrations, food, music and so much more!

• 9:00am - Show OPENS with cars, race simulators, art, books signing, food, music, robotics demonstrations, and more!
• 11:00am - Nolan Allaer signing autographs in the East Lot near Big Beaver
• 11:00am - Tech Talks: Corvette ZR1X
• 11:45am - Tech Talks: Mustang GTD
• 12:30pm - Tech Talks: Race Panel Discussion
• 1:30pm - Kids Pedal Power 200 Race
• 2:30pm - Awards and Prize Drawings announced

Preregistration is now CLOSED for the Troy Traffic Jam!

Preregistered vehicles can pick up their show packet and swag bag on Saturday, August 2nd from 10am-2pm at the flag poles at Columbia Center, 201 W. Big Beaver. This will speed up your check-in process on the day of the show!

Space is very limited for Day-of Registrations at the Troy Traffic Jam! Please arrive at 7:00am to fill out your registrations form. Day-of Registrations will only be taken as space allows and costs $30.

Pedal Car Races in Troy

Kids Pedal Car races are open to all racers age 3 – 8 years old with a pedal powered car. Race dates, times, and cost are as noted. There are three heats during each race: 3 & 4 year olds, 5 & 6 year olds, 7 & 8 year olds. For your child to participate, you’ll need your own pedal car (click button below for more information), a helmet, and to make sure to register them for the race!

Each racer will collect a medal and sweet treat for each race they participate in. 1st-Place winners of Troy Trucking 200 and Pedal Troy 200 will also receive a trophy. Those participating in the grand finale Kids Pedal Power 200 will receive t-shirts and trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each age group. Each race registration will close one hour before race start time. Please contact us if ADA accommodations are needed to participate!

Volunteer at the event!

Troy Traffic Jam is our biggest event of the year, and we need you to make sure everyone has a safe and fun time! We are expecting 6,000+ guests to join us during this car party, as well as 300+ cars ranging from Model Ts to modern Ferraris. It’s a super fun time, and we hope you’ll join us!
