Troy's biggest car show and community fundraiser is back. From Model T's to modern exotics, 300+ show cars, live Tech Talks with automotive industry leaders, the Pedal Power 200, robotics demos, automotive art, and a full day of family-friendly fun. All in support of the educational programs at Troy Historic Village.

This event is the Troy Historical Society's biggest of the year, and it is a very important fundraiser for the Village, which is why we need amazing volunteers like you!
What to Expect:
- Short & sweet 2.5 - 3 hour shifts. Unless you want to spend more time with us!
- Free lunch if you volunteer for two shifts.
- You can volunteer by yourself and meet some new folks or grab some friends and we can keep you in a group!
- Detailed explanation and instructions on your position with a dedicated THV staff person to report to.
- Accessible options so you can make an informed decision on how best to give back to your community.
- You'll get to be up close and personal with 300+ fantastic cars rolling in and will get to experience the show before or after your shift.
What You Can Do:
- Set Up / Clean Up Crew
- Instructing participants where to park cars
- Same-day registration for car show participants
- Collecting parking donations
- Selling 50/50 raffle tickets
- Helping supervise our Tech Talks
- Show kids how to play fun old-timey games
- And more!

- How old do I need to be to volunteer at the Troy Traffic Jam? Volunteers must be 14 years or older, or going into 9th grade. Volunteers younger than 14 years old are welcome on a case-to-case basis with a parent chaperoning the whole time.
- I want to sign up a group to volunteer. How do I do that? Please contact our Volunteer Coordinator directly at TroyTrafficJam@thvmail.org or call 248-524-3570. They will work with you to set something up!
- Do you accept court ordered community service volunteers for Troy Traffic Jam? We do supervise some court ordered community service volunteer hours, but not all. Please contact us at TroyTrafficJam@thvmail.org or call 248-524-3570 before signing up to make sure your hours can be supervised.
- Do I need to attend an orientation? Yes! All volunteers must attend orientation on Tuesday July 28 from 6:00pm - 7:00pm. Orientation takes place at the Columbia Center (201 W. Big Beaver Rd., Troy, MI) inside a conference room. At orientation you will receive an overview of the event, informational materials, your day-of parking pass, and an event t-shirt!
