Watercolor Classes: A Watercolor Salute to the Village’s Summer Gardens
Select Wednesdays from 4:30-6:30pm
Artist and art teacher Megan Swoyer guides students in using a variety of watercolor techniques to create a colorful salute to the Village’s summer gardens! No watercolor experience is necessary; all supplies will be provided. Ages 16 & up.
Summer 2024 Watercolor Class Schedule - August:
- SOLD OUT! August 7: Peonies á la Caswell House. The Caswell House Gardens always pop with fragrant peonies, letting everyone know summer is in full swing! We’ll capture their beauty on paper with a lot of wet-into-wet techniques. Class will take place outside on the Village Green, under a canopy tent. This class is SOLD OUT.
- August 14: Walkway Hollyhocks. Along the walkway at the Troy Historic Village are some gorgeous hollyhocks. We’ll take a look at them in the gardens before painting these beauties in a thoroughly fresh and impressionistic manner. Class will take place outside on the Village Green, under a canopy tent.
Watercolor classes start at 4:30pm sharp! Make sure to arrive on time so you don’t miss anything.
