- How do I become a Troy Historical Society (THS) Member? Click here to learn more about becoming a member and to purchase a membership.
- What is a mock radio show? A mock radio show is a performance that's presented as if a radio show from the 1920s-1950s is being recorded in-front of a live audience. It uses actual scripts of programs from that era. Actors read their lines into microphones. Piano music, sound effects, and sometimes commercials are performed live. It is not actually being broadcast on radio. To enhance your enjoyment as an audience member, you can close your eyes and use your imagination as you listen.
- Can I get a refund for this program? No, we do not offer refunds for this program unless we (the Village) cancels or reschedules the program. We would be happy to convert your registration into a tax-deductible donation and send a receipt upon request.
- Does everyone in my group need to be 12 years or older to attend the program? No, while the program is aimed at adult audiences, there is nothing inappropriate for children. However, the show may not hold the attention of children under 12 and everyone will need a pay the registration fee.
- Can we buy tickets at the door? Yes, but we encourage you to buy tickets ahead of time to ensure you have a seat.
- Will I be able to get around easily using my wheelchair or walker? Yes! The Village offers three accessible parking spaces in our west parking lot. The Old Troy Church has a wheelchair-accessible entryway, is connected to the parking lot by a paved pathway, and has wheelchair-accessible restrooms. For more information, please contact us at info@thvmail.org.
- Is this event held rain or shine? Yes! This program takes place entirely indoors, so please come as long as you feel comfortable with the weather. We do monitor the weather and will adjust our programs as necessary.
