For each of the Royal Oak Leprechauns’ 36 home games, one local nonprofit organization is invited to Memorial Park to showcase its mission and connect with fans through fundraising opportunities. Troy Historic Village will be at their home game on Saturday June 6 to share our summer activities, including the Troy Historical Society Summer Raffle, and organization some old-timey games between innings.

Who are the Royal Oak Leprechauns?
The Royal Oak Leprechauns compete in the Northwoods League, a premier wood-bat league founded in 1994 where top college players play during the summer. Notable alumni include Max Scherzer, Curtis Granderson, Pete Alonso, and Chris Sale. Their season begins on Memorial Day and runs through mid-August. They play 72 games total, including 36 at home in Royal Oak.

- Why is the Village participating in a baseball game in Royal Oak? The Village has been invited to promote our mission and raise funds as the nonprofit of the night at Memorial Park in Royal Oak. We will be selling tickets for the Troy Historical Society Summer Raffle at the ballpark, overseeing the in-between inning activities, and receiving $4 per ticket when our supporters purchase tickets online for the baseball game using code "THV."

- How much do tickets cost? Tickets start at $12 for adults and children under the age of 6 years old get in FREE.
- Is Memorial Park wheelchair accessible? They have wheelchair accessible seating areas. Please contact them at 248-206-5576 before your visit and they will do their best to accommodate your needs.
- Is this event held rain or shine? The Royal Oak Leprechauns will decide if the weather is suitable to play in. In the event of bad weather, the best place to check for updates is on the Leprechauns’ social media pages. - Will food be available? A wide variety of affordable concessions will be for sale inside the ballpark including beer, wine, seltzers, and cocktails. Outside food and beverages are not permitted with the exception of one factory-sealed bottle of water or one empty refillable container per person.
