Are you prepared for the "what-ifs"? Most people know they need a plan, but many don't know where to start. Join us for a free educational seminar to learn how to take care of and provide for your loved ones and leave a legacy. Dessert and coffee will be served.

Meet the Presenter
Kara S. Ferrara is a trusted advisor for Giarmarco, Mullins, and Horton’s Business Practice and Estate Planning groups. She works with individual, families, and business owners to create individualized estate plans and advises her clients on all aspects of planning for their future.
What to Expect
When you arrive, please head to room 301 at Troy Community Center (highlighted in blue on the map below). After you check in, find a seat. Kara S. Ferrara will present information about estate planning and answer your questions.
The Troy Community Center has a paved parking lot and paved pathways leading to the building. Inside the building there are accessible bathrooms.

- Is this event held rain or shine? Yes, this program will be held rain or shine as it takes place indoors. In the case of extreme weather, we will try to reschedule the program.
- Does it cost to attend this event? No, this program is entirely FREE!
- Should I bring anything? You do not need to bring anything to attend this event. You may want a pen or pencil and paper to take notes.
- Will I be able to get around easily using my wheelchair or walker? Yes! The Troy Community Center is completely wheelchair accessible.
- What kind of topics will we be discussing? We will learn about estate planning including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and charitable giving. You will have a change ask questions related to these topics.
- Will there be refreshments? Yes, we will have water and cookies available for those who attend, and there are water fountains and vending machines available at the Troy Community Center.
- Can I bring my dog? Only service animals are allowed at Troy Community Center. We strive to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable, so please leave your pets at home.
Parking & Directions
Troy Community Center is located at 3179 Livernois Rd, Troy, MI 48083 (between Wattles and Big Beaver). There are two parking lots at the Community Center, and you can park in either one. After you park, head inside and go to room 301 (highlighted in blue on the map below). See map below for details.
