Calling all members of the Troy Historical Society! Go behind the scenes to see how staff store artifacts and archive to preserve them for future generations. You’ll see some of our storage spaces and we’ll pull out some special items to discuss.

The Troy Historical Society Board of Trustees is hosting this event and will be there to answer questions about the Village. Jen, Executive Director, and Elizabeth, Curator, will be leading the tour.

- How do I become a Troy Historical Society (THS) Member? Click here to learn more about becoming a member and to purchase a membership.
- Do I need to register in advance? Yes, there is limited space for this program so please register in advance.
- What happens if I’m running late? Should I still come? Yes! Please check-in at the Main Building when you arrive and then you can go out into the Village.
- I registered online, but I have friends/family that want to join. The more the merrier! Just be sure that you have a Household Membership level or higher, or that your friends/family have their own THS Membership.
- Will I be able to get around easily using my wheelchair or walker? Yes! The Village offers three accessible parking spaces in our west parking lot. All of our buildings have wheelchair-accessible entryways and are connected to the wide paved pathway. Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are available inside the Old Troy Church.
- Will food or drink be available? Troy Historic Village does not sell food. We occasionally feature local vendors to provide food for sale during Village programming, or we may offer food from local vendors included in your registration price. Included in your Members-Only Meetup registration is a cold drink and light snack. These will be available in the General Store. Please note we are a peanut free facility.
- Will I be able to explore the rest of the Village? No, as this is an after-hours event, the rest of the Village will be locked.
- Can I bring my dog? Only service animals are allowed at the Village. We strive to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable, so please leave your pets at home.
- Should I still come if it is raining? Yes! We will make seating available indoors if it rains, but you will need to walk outside between buildings. We do monitor the weather and will adjust our programs as necessary.
Parking & Directions
Troy Historic Village is located at 60 W. Wattles Road, Troy MI 48098 (northwest corner of Wattles and Livernois). There are two parking lots at the Village, and you can park in either one. After you park, head inside the Main Building (large, brick building facing Wattles next to the parking lot). We will have green and white signs to direct your path
