Visit the Village and help A ReJoyceful Animal Rescue!
Instead of charging admission on Thursday June 26, we are suggesting that all visitors donate $5 per person to A ReJoyceful Animal Rescue. All you have to do is show us proof of donation (such as the complete screen on your cell phone or an email receipt confirmation). You can donate online using the link below or bring cash to the Village. We will be accepting proof of donation for admission to the Village from 10am to 7pm on June 26.
A few years ago, we hosted a Pet Adoption Day at the Village with A ReJoyceful Animal Rescue. Last Wednesday, their facility was literally under water because of the flash flooding in Clinton Township causing thousands of dollars in damage and displacing dozens of animals. This fundraiser is to help them recover and continue helping animals. These funds might be used to cover medical fees, buy supplies, pay staff, or fix flood damages.

- Do I need to register in advance? No! You may find it more convenient to donate online before arriving at the Village.
- I already donated to A ReJoyceful Animal Rescue on a different day. Does that count or do I need to donate again? Any recent proof of donation to A ReJoyceful Animal Rescue will be accepted.
- Do I have to donate $5 per person? No! This is a suggested donation, and you can donate more or less. We understand that times are tough, so any donation is appreciated and makes a difference.
- Will there be adoptable animals at the Village? No! At this time, A ReJoyceful Animal Rescue is not able to bring out adoptable animals. If you are interested in adopting a new pet, please check out their website: www.ReJoycefulRescue.com.
- Do I need to donate online to participate? No! You can donate cash onsite at the Village. All cash donations we go directly to cover medical expenses for animals in A ReJoyceful Animal Rescue's care.
- What if I don't want to donate to A ReJoyceful Animal Rescue? If you don't want to donate, that's okay. We will ask you to pay General Admission instead.
Parking & Directions
Troy Historic Village is located at 60 W. Wattles Road, Troy MI 48098 (northwest corner of Wattles and Livernois). There are two parking lots at the Village and you can park in either one. After you park, head inside the Main Building (the large brick building) to show proof of donation or donate cash. We have green and white signs to direct your path.
