Help us welcome summer during our FREE Summer Kick-Off Open House!
Grab dinner, listen to some live music, and enjoy an evening at the Village! Get your tickets for the Troy Historical Society’s Summer Raffle. We’ll have games, food and treats for purchase, and information about all sorts of great summer activities around Troy.

Parking and Directions
You can walk, bike, or drive to the Village located at 60 W. Wattles Rd., Troy, MI 48098 (northwest corner of Wattles & Livernois). Parking spaces at the Village are limited, so please take advantage of a FREE shuttle from the Troy Community Center provided by Troy RYDE. The shuttle rides will be on-going between the Community Center and the Village throughout the evening.
Look for the signs in the south east corner of the parking lot of the Community Center, park your car, and hop on board the shuttle for a quick stress free trip to the Village! The shuttle will pick you up near the Community Center's Livernois Entrance. The Troy Community Center is located at 3179 Livernois Rd, Troy, MI 48083. Once you arrive at the Village, come into the main gate (closest one facing Wattles) and have some fun!
What to Expect During this FREE Event
The Troy Summer Kick-Off is from 5pm - 8pm and you're welcome to come and go as you please! Be sure not to leave before you check out these things during Kick-Off:
- Tour & Explore the Village! All Village buildings are open! Try our digital tour on your phone and explore our grounds. Summer Kick-Off is one of four times Niles-Barnard House is open to the public!
- Test Your Luck! Bring cash to purchase your tickets for the Troy Historical Society’s Summer Raffle. We’ve got 10 big prizes to enter raffles for! Age 18+ only.
- Find Out More! Chat with our community partners to learn about all the fun things going on in Troy this summer. You can expect to visit with Troy Historic Village, Kiwanis Club of Troy, League of Women Voters, The Choice Group, Stage Nature Center, Troy Fire Department, Troy Garden Club, Troy Police Department, Troy Public Library + the Bookmobile, Troy Recreation, Troy Youth Assistance, and Troy Youth Soccer.
- Stay for Dinner! You can purchase dinner from Hearth, Wood, Fire Pizza Food Truck and Kona Ice Cream. Free coffee is provided courtesy of Tim Hortons – Troy.
- Kick Back & Relax! Enjoy live music by the Dodworth Saxhorn Band! We’ll have some seats available, or bring your own lawn chair, or picnic blanket, and some snacks.
