Watercolor Classes: Essence of Summer
Select weekdays ǀ 4:30pm-6:30pm ǀ Ages 16 and up
THS Members: $40/class
Non-members: $45/class
Artist and art teacher Megan Swoyer guides students in using a variety of watercolor techniques to create colorful summer scenes. Each class will focus on a different subject, from wildflowers to sailboats, so you can choose to sign up for just one class or take a few of them! No experience required. This class is appropriate for ages 16 and up.
Classes will take place inside the Niles-Barnard House at the Troy Historic Village. We’ll provide all the supplies you need, just bring yourself and your love of summer! - Tuesday June 6: Summer at the Lake Night Heron Scene
- Wednesday June 21: Summer Afield Chicory and Fireweed — Michigan wildflowers
- Wednesday July 19: Summer on the Deck A pretty pot of geraniums on the deck
- Wednesday July 26: Summer at the Beach Simple sailboats, water, sky, and beach
- Wednesday August 2: Summer in a Vase Cut garden flowers
