Come walk with us! Thursday evening walks are:

  • FREE to attend
  • A fun way to explore the great outdoors
  • Geared toward fitness but often include some local history, too
  • Great for walkers of all ages and levels of fitness—and many routes are canine-friendly!

November 7, 5pm: Woodall Neighborhood Park
4670 River Bends Drive, Shelby Twp.
(East side of Ryan Rd. between 22 Mile and Auburn)

Two parks in one walk! Meet at Woodall Neighborhood Park in Shelby Twp.; parking is in the first lot on your right when you come in on River Bends Drive off of Ryan Road. We’ll walk the paved northern perimeter of the neighborhood park, then follow the trail across River Bends
Drive to walk a little bit of the River Bends Park trail.
Distance: 2 – 3 miles.

November 14, 5pm: Madison Heights Library

Two parks and a library this week! Meet in the library parking lot near the Brush St. entrance.  We’ll head west into Civic Center park then back to the library. From there, you can call it a night or some extra distance—head east on Thirteen Mile for a walk around Ambassador Park.
Distance: 1.25 – 2 miles.

November 21, 5pm: Robinwood Park
475 Cherry Drive, Troy
(Morse Elementary)

This lovely neighborhood park is right across the street from Morse Elementary in Troy; leave your vehicle in the Morse parking lot and meet at the Robinwood Park entrance on Cherry Drive or a lap or two through the wooded park on a flat, paved trail. Distance: 1 – 2 miles.
