November 18 – December 8: The Village is still open for self-guided tours of our Celebration of Light exhibit, but we are pausing programs that bring 2 or more families from different households into one space. The Troy Historic Village supports a 3-week pause in activities from November 18th to December 8th to help stem the rise in Covid-19 cases.

Under the new orders MDHHS orders, museums are allowed to be open at 30% capacity as long as they follow health and safety guidelines. The great news is we already have these guidelines in place for our regular visits! We have timed entry, a one-way path through the Village, masks are required when indoors, and only one family group should be in a building at a time. In addition, we have hand sanitizing stations in each building and regularly sanitize touched surfaces and bathrooms. You can reserve and pay for your admission before arriving to limit your interaction with staff to a contactless check-in.

During this 3-week period we will be pausing our programs/special events that would bring together two or more families from different households into the same space or modifying them to create enough space between families and activities to keep everyone safe.
