Become A Member of the Troy Historic Village
You can help the Troy Historic Village share the stories of our region’s heritage!
Our volunteers support the operations of the Village in a number of ways. They engage the public as docents in historic buildings and greeters during special events. They work behind the scenes on event planning committees, in writing and research groups and with our curatorial staff to preserve artifacts and archival collections. They raise funds, repair textiles, garden, decorate, clean and repair historic buildings and so much more. Whether you have a little or a lot of time to give, you can get involved.
Support The Past. Live The Present. Build The Future.
Corporate sponsorship is a prime opportunity to engage the community as it discovers its roots and beginnings. Your support of one of Michigan’s only fully restored historic villages creates avenues for lasting partnerships and local prestige. Help us in our mission to serve the tri-county area, and join us as we help history live!

Established in 1966, the Troy Historical Society (THS) has demonstrated its commitment to preserving Troy’s pioneer era and heritage by transforming itself from a club interested in history to a governance body overseeing the operations of the Troy Historic Village (THV, Village). The Troy Historical Society stimulates discovery and cultivates life-long appreciation of history by sharing and preserving heritage through creative, meaningful experiences that engage our stakeholders.
