Thursday Teas at Two: Tea with the Lone Ranger

When: April 27 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm | $7 / Member | $8 Nonmember

Explore the Detroit origin of the Lone Ranger, Green Hornet and Sgt. Preston radio and television shows with award-winning artist, radio historian and lecturer Larry Zdeb. View recent pictures of the abandoned WXYZ Radio Studios in the Maccabees Building and enjoy a short, humorous movie about radio sound effects.

Sip a cup of tea while enjoying a slice of history. A different delightful topic each month! Presentations begin in Old Troy Church at 2 pm and last one hour. Guests are welcome to bring their own china cup and saucer if preferred. Individual Ticket Price: $7/THS Member; $8/non-member. Season Tickets: $24/THS Member; $28/non-member. Includes admission and entry into our teacup prize drawing. Register in advance as space is limited for this popular series. No refunds, no exchanges. Call 248-524-3570.
