We shared in the 19th and 20th century traditions that made historic holidays special: simple decorations, festive dinners, holiday finery, yuletide carols, vintage greetings, antique toys and more. Children made a Christmas craft in Poppleton School and visited with Santa Claus inside Old Troy Church. All visitors enjoyed complimentary Christmas cookies along with hot, mulled cider and holiday greens, courtesy of the Troy Garden Club. This year’s event also featured the cast of “Little Women: The Musical” singing tunes from the show as well as traditional Christmas carols. Sponsored by Genisys Credit Union.
